Turn flow

A catch, a draw and the next turn

The requested rank determines whether fishing succeeds.

Successful request

Receiving the requested rank from an opponent lets the requester continue in the profile used here. The next request must still use a rank currently held, and it may name another opponent.

Requested-rank stock draw

If the opponent has none, the requester draws one from the stock. When that card is the requested rank, show it to verify the catch and continue. Our “Matching draw” walkthrough isolates this case.

A different stock draw

Keep a non-matching drawn card, but pass the turn to the next active player on the left. Drawing any card is not automatically a repeat turn. Our “Different draw” example shows this handoff.

Agree a profile first

House rules can differ in deal size, refill procedure and when play ends. Read the complete beginner guide for our chosen profile. The three short demonstrations deliberately avoid empty-hand and endgame cases; they explain a request and its immediate outcome.
