Keep the profile visible
This reference uses four-card books and rank requests. A stock draw repeats the turn only when it matches the requested rank. Other versions can differ, so agree the complete profile before dealing.

Empty hands and stock
At the start of an empty-handed player’s turn, draw one if stock remains. With no hand and no stock, skip that player. With cards but no stock, a failed request passes left. Equal highest book counts share the result in this site’s teaching profile.
A clean paper copy
Use the print view. The full beginner guide gives context. This standard-deck reference does not use the reduced printable’s three-card starting deal.
