Practice routine

Read your hand before asking

A three-part routine for the practice board.

Name the ranks

Look at the hand before the answer buttons. Say each distinct rank once, even if two cards share it. Suits help identify the physical cards but do not create separate request ranks.

Choose one valid request

The board asks for any rank you hold. Several buttons can be correct; choose just one. Your first submitted answer locks that question so the explanation stays attached to the choice you actually made.

Read the feedback

The feedback lists the eligible ranks and explains whether your choice was held. It does not claim the opponent has that card. At the end of six questions, the review shows the hand, your request and the explanation.

Use a wrong answer as a prompt

Point to the missing rank and ask how you could check it next time. There is no countdown, persistent score or leaderboard. Restarting or reloading begins a fresh temporary session. Take a break whenever the group prefers one.
